About this product
The ASICS Gel-Kayano 32 is a men's distance running shoe built around a refined balance of support, cushioning, and reduced weight. Its FF Blast Plus foam midsole features a higher stack height while remaining lighter than standard FF Blast technology, delivering a smooth, responsive ride. Rearfoot Pure Gel technology, approximately 65% softer than conventional Gel, absorbs impact at the heel, while the 4D Guidance System uses a dynamic pod to provide adaptive stability under excessive load. An engineered mesh upper keeps the construction lightweight and breathable, eliminating the need for extra overlays, and a reinforced tongue wing along the arch adds targeted support. The knit heel pull tab makes entry and exit more comfortable. Underfoot, an OrthoLite X-55 sockliner manages moisture for a cooler environment, and the sockliner is produced via solution dyeing, reducing water usage by roughly 33% and carbon emissions by roughly 45% versus conventional dyeing. The Hybrid ASICSGRIP outsole combines ASICSGRIP rubber with AHARPLUS material for grip across varied terrain and long-term durability. Reflective details aid visibility in low-light conditions. Available in White and Orange Glow, and reported by customers to fit true to size (SKU 1011C052).

What people are saying
Reviewers consistently praise the Gel-Kayano 32 for its reliable stability, plush heel cushioning, and a notably improved heel-to-toe transition thanks to the new 8mm drop, a first for the Kayano line. The secure, breathable stretch-knit upper earns frequent compliments for its lockdown fit and premium feel, and the shoe fits true to size. Durability is widely considered excellent, with a rugged outsole and robust build quality. The most common criticisms are that the ride feels firmer than expected for a max-cushion shoe, energy return is low, and the weight remains on the heavier side compared to rivals. Reviewers also note it is not suited for speedwork or tempo sessions, and the premium price point gives some buyers pause.
