About this product
The Astral Brewess 2.0 is a women's water-ready shoe built for whitewater, all-water activities, and rock scrambling. Its uppers combine hydrophobic canvas with airmesh at the vamp, tongue, and medial side, keeping weight low while managing moisture effectively. A step-down heel, built-in sockliner, and water-resistant laces round out the upper construction. The EVA midsole features a level heel-to-ball platform with a medium arch profile, sitting at 17mm at the heel and 16mm at the ball for a close-to-ground feel that aids balance on uneven terrain. Underfoot, the proprietary G.15 rubber outsole is razor-siped and shaped for high surface contact, delivering the grip needed on wet rock and slippery surfaces without marking. The Balanced Geometry midsole design supports natural foot movement across varied conditions. Customers report the fit runs true to size, and the shoe is available in Deep Water Navy.

What people are saying
Reviewers consistently praise the Astral Brewess 2.0 for its impressive versatility, handling kayaking, rafting, hiking, and casual wear with equal ease. The proprietary G.15 rubber outsole earns repeated compliments for exceptional grip on wet rocks, slick surfaces, and mixed terrain. The sneaker-like aesthetic is a standout, with many noting it looks far more stylish than typical water shoes. Drainage, breathability, and comfort are also frequently highlighted. The most common criticisms involve the bulkier, chunkier profile compared to minimalist water shoes, a longer drying time due to the thicker construction, and occasional fit issues, including tongue seam discomfort when worn barefoot and some sizing inconsistency. Arch support is noted as modest by some users.
