About this product
The Keen Greta is a low-calf women's winter boot built for active cold-weather use, combining a lace-up closure with a leather and synthetic upper that carries LWG (Leather Working Group) certification. A Keen.Dry waterproof-breathable membrane works alongside 200g Keen.Warm synthetic insulation, the latter made from recycled P.E.T., to keep feet warm and dry across snowy or icy conditions. A wicking liner with antimicrobial treatment helps manage moisture and resist odours over extended wear. Underfoot, a dual-density EVA midsole provides cushioning, while the Keen.Freeze rubber outsole is designed to grip snow and ice for confident footing on slippery terrain. The removable insole allows for customization or replacement, and the synthetic lining rounds out a construction focused on comfort and durability. Available in a Bison/Java colorway, the Greta (style 6009-599) is manufactured in Viet Nam and incorporates recycled materials as part of Keen's sustainability commitments.

What people are saying
Reviewers consistently praise the Keen Greta Waterproof Winter Boots for exceptional warmth, reliable waterproofing, and all-day comfort right out of the box. Many highlight the impressive traction on snow and ice, the convenient zip-and-go closure, and a versatile style that works for both outdoor use and everyday wear. The most common complaint is that the fit runs narrower than expected for a Keen product, which surprises loyal fans of the brand's typically wide toe box. Several reviewers recommend sizing up a half size, and a handful note that the tongue lacks adequate padding. A small number of users found the insulation insufficient in extreme cold, though most report warm feet well below freezing.
