About this product
The Lowa Renegade Warm GTX Mid is a women's winter hiking boot built for active cold-weather use and snowshoeing. The nubuck leather upper features a loden cuff trim and pairs with a fully seam-sealed, waterproof GORE-TEX lining that blocks snow and slush on long outings. GORE-TEX Panda XT fleece insulation retains heat while managing moisture, contributing to the boot's warmth rating of 4 out of 5. A moderately stiff construction, internal support frame, and double-injection midsole work together to cushion and stabilize the foot on uneven or off-trail winter surfaces, with cushioning performance that holds up in cold temperatures. Two-zone lacing lets you independently adjust fit across the forefoot and ankle for climbs and descents. The Vibram EVO Icetrek outsole provides grip on frozen terrain as well as smooth indoor floors. A removable insole adds fit flexibility. Made in Slovakia, the pair weighs 960 g and is available in Black/Champagne.

What people are saying
Reviewers consistently praise the Lowa Renegade Warm GTX Mid as a highly capable cold-weather boot that builds on the beloved Renegade platform. The Gore-Tex Panda fleece insulation and nubuck leather upper earn strong marks for keeping feet warm and dry in snow, mud, and icy conditions, while the Vibram Evo Icetrek outsole is widely noted for reliable grip on cold and slippery surfaces. The lacing system, tall ankle collar, and Monowrap midsole are frequently highlighted for excellent ankle support and stability on uneven terrain. Fit options in narrow and wide widths are appreciated by those with hard-to-fit feet. The most common criticisms center on the high price point, limited breathability that makes the boot too warm for mild or summer conditions, and some user reports of seam durability concerns after extended use. A few reviewers also note the boot can run slightly small and benefits from trying on in person.
