About this product
The Osprey Sojourn Porter Travel Pack 65L is a versatile, high-capacity bag designed for longer trips, offering 65 liters (3,967 cubic inches) of storage in a 19 x 17.72 x 15.35 inch frame and weighing 4.1 lbs (1.85 kg). The main body is constructed from bluesign-approved 100% recycled 200D polyester, while the bottom uses a more rugged 100% recycled 1680D ballistic polyester, both treated with a PFAS-free DWR finish for weather resistance. A stowaway harness and hipbelt with breathable spacermesh contact surfaces deploy quickly for backpack-style carry, then tuck neatly into the AirScape vented backpanel when not needed. StraightJacket compression straps with padded sidewalls control the load, protect contents, and compress the bag when it is not fully packed. Interior mesh and liner pockets aid organization, and a floating exterior-access boot bin keeps dirty or odorous items separated. A TSID luggage registration tag is included with each pack.

What people are saying
Reviewers consistently praise the Osprey Sojourn Porter 65L for its massive, duffel-style opening that makes packing and access easy, its impressive capacity (often feeling larger than 65L), and its long-term durability across years of heavy travel use. The stowaway harness and hip belt system, WingJacket compression straps, and AirScape back panel are frequently highlighted as smart, travel-friendly design features. The most common criticism is that the hip belt and back support are inadequate when the bag is loaded with real weight, making extended carry uncomfortable and unsuitable for hiking or long walks. Some reviewers also note the bag can feel bulky in tight spaces, and a few flag that the nylon fabric, while generally durable, can show wear over time.
