The Salomon Shift Alpha Boa 120 is a hard-flex freeride ski boot built for advanced male skiers with narrow feet. Its polyurethane shell offers consistent density for reliable power transmission, and the Custom Shell HD process allows the lower shell to be heat-molded in roughly 10 minutes, bringing the foot closer to the shell through thin-wall construction. The BOA Fit System provides micro-adjustable precision closure, while Exobelt technology combines a textile and plastic fastener with that same dial to lock the heel firmly in place on ascents and deliver control on descents. Low-tech inserts integrated into the shell make the boot compatible with touring bindings. The Twinlock mechanism, FreeSpine bar, and PowerWedge insert work together to balance a wide range of walking motion with progressive alpine flex when locked. The cuff rotates on polymer bushings for natural movement when skinning. The My Custom Fit Freeride 4D Pro liner features a pre-shaped construction with an elastic toe box, and a Contagrip and GripWalk sole handles mixed terrain. Per-boot weight is 1,750 g.
