The Salomon Shift Alpha Boa 120 is a men's freeride ski boot built for advanced skiers with narrow feet who demand hard-flex performance both on the descent and during the skin track. The polyurethane shell features a Custom Shell HD process that allows lower-shell personalization in roughly 10 minutes, with thin-wall construction that brings the foot closer to the shell for direct power transmission. Low-tech inserts are integrated into the shell for compatibility with touring bindings, while the BOA Fit System and Exobelt technology combine to deliver micro-adjustable heel hold that reduces blisters on the way up and sharpens precision on the way down. The cuff uses polymer bushings for frictionless rotation during ascent, and the Twinlock mechanism, FreeSpine bar, and PowerWedge insert work together to provide progressive alpine flex and a wide range of motion. The My Custom Fit Freeride 4D Pro liner includes an elastic toe box and Talyn cushioning, and the Contagrip Midgrip sole with premounted GripWalk pads (ISO 23223) handles rocky and icy terrain.
