About this product

The Salomon Aero Blaze 3 Gravel Gore-Tex is a women's running shoe built for runners who move between pavement, gravel paths, and damp singletrack without slowing down. A GORE-TEX membrane keeps water out while still allowing heat and moisture to escape, making it a practical choice for unpredictable conditions. The engineered mesh upper works with the internal sensiFIT system to cradle the foot from heel to forefoot, delivering a secure, wrapped fit without excess bulk. Underfoot, the optiFOAM² midsole combines lightweight foam with solid energy return for cushioned yet responsive landings. The OrthoLite molded sockliner conforms to the foot's shape and adds breathability and durability over long-term use. Flat laces reduce pressure across the top of the foot, while the Gravel Contagrip outsole provides multi-directional traction on paved roads, loose gravel, and wet dirt through chevron-style lugs. Available in Shadow Gray and Vanilla Ice, model L49218000.

What people are saying

Reviewers consistently praise the Salomon Aero Blaze 3 Gravel Gore-Tex for its versatility as a road-to-gravel hybrid, highlighting the lightweight feel, responsive optiFOAM² cushioning, and the Gore-Tex membrane's ability to keep feet dry and protected in cold, wet conditions. The SensiFIT lacing system earns credit for a secure midfoot hold, and the shoe is widely noted as true to size. The most common criticisms center on limited traction: the minimal lug pattern and exposed midsole rubber make it poorly suited for hilly, muddy, or heavily rutted terrain. Reviewers also flag some forefoot instability on uneven ground, and note that the non-gusseted tongue can absorb water despite the waterproof upper.
