The Carhartt Work In Progress Single Knee Pant is built from organic Dearborn Canvas, a heavyweight 12 oz cotton fabric treated with a stone canvas wash. This ozone-based oxidizing process reduces water and chemical consumption during finishing, resulting in a lighter appearance with subtle scraping and whisker effects across the surface. The relaxed straight fit sits at a regular waist and is reinforced throughout with triple stitching and bartack stitching at key stress points. Practical details include tool pockets, a hammer loop, and a zip fly, while a woven Square Label adds a branded finishing touch. The pocket lining is a 65% polyester, 35% cotton blend, and the pant is also available in Smith Denim (13.5 oz cotton) and Coventry Corduroy (8-wale, 9.7 oz cotton) constructions. Care is straightforward: machine wash at up to 40°C, tumble dry at up to 60°C, and iron at up to 200°C.
