About this product
The Fjallraven Abisko Trekking Tights HD are women's hiking tights built for demanding trail conditions. The 70% polyester and 30% elastane blend delivers 4-way stretch that wicks moisture and supports a full range of motion, while reinforced patches at the knees and seat resist abrasion from rocks and rough terrain and offer a measure of protection when resting on wet ground. A high waistband with an internal drawstring provides adjustable coverage, and a gusseted crotch combined with flatlock seams and pre-shaped knees reduces chafing over long days on the move. Two thigh and side pockets, one with a flap and one zippered, accommodate a phone, map, compass, or small essentials. The fabric carries a UPF 40 to 50+ rating, blocking approximately 97.5% of UVA and UVB rays. Weighing 265g and made with recycled materials, these tights are a practical choice for camping and hiking in varied conditions.

What people are saying
Reviewers consistently praise the Fjallraven Abisko Trekking Tights HD for their exceptional comfort, excellent breathability, and well-placed reinforcements at the knees and seat, which hold up well against scrambling, sliding, and rough terrain. The wide, high waistband and thoughtfully positioned pockets are also frequently highlighted. The most common complaints center on fit and retention: many users report the tights tend to slip or sag during activity, and the drawstring is widely considered ineffective. Some reviewers note the thick seams and the texture difference between the reinforced panels and the main fabric can feel distracting or irritating. The high price point and the main fabric's tendency to pill on brushy trails are also recurring criticisms.
