The Mountain Hardwear Storm Whisperer Insulated Jacket is a women's ultralight down jacket built for wet, cold conditions across a range of activities including backpacking, alpine climbing, hiking, and travel. Drawing inspiration from the Ghost Whisperer series, it pairs 800-fill RDS-certified down insulation with a Pertex Shield 20D Ripstop 2-layer shell made from 100% recycled nylon, delivering meaningful warmth and lightweight waterproof protection in a single packable piece. The Whisperer 10Dx10D Ripstop lining keeps the overall weight minimal, while stretch-knit cuffs and an elastic bound hem help seal in heat. A fully insulated adjustable hood with rear cinch, a water-resistant two-way center front zipper, and underarm zip vents round out the weather management features. Storage includes two zippered hand pockets, an interior zippered pocket, and an interior stretch mesh drop pocket. The center back length measures 28 inches (71.1 cm), and the jacket carries Control Union certification (license CU 848416) for its responsible down sourcing.
