About this product

The Rab Mythic Ultra 180 is a high-performance ultralight sleeping bag rated to a sleep limit of 0 degrees Celsius (32 degrees Fahrenheit), weighing just 400 grams (14.1 oz). Its standout feature is Thermo Ionic Lining Technology (TILT), a titanium coating applied to the inner lining fibres that reflects body heat back toward the sleeper, boosting warmth without adding weight or reducing breathability. The shell is constructed from a 7D ripstop nylon outer fabric, and the insulation is 900+ fill power RDS-certified European goose down treated with a fluorocarbon-free hydrophobic finish developed in partnership with Nikwax. A trapezoidal chamber design and saving baffle construction work together to prevent down migration and eliminate cold spots. The bag fits users up to 185 cm (74.8 in) tall, with a 215 cm (86.5 in) total length, 70 cm shoulder width, 52 cm hip width, and 41 cm foot width. An ergonomic hood and internal collar, angled foot box, anti-snag bonded zip guard, and a glow-in-the-dark YKK zipper puller round out the construction. Packed in a lightweight dry bag stuff sack, it is filled in Derbyshire, UK.

What people are saying

Reviewers consistently praise the Rab Mythic Ultra 180 for its exceptional warmth-to-weight ratio, with its sub-400g weight and 900+ fill-power hydrophobic down earning widespread admiration among ultralight backpackers and fastpackers. The proprietary TILT titanium heat-reflective lining is frequently highlighted as a genuine innovation, boosting warmth without adding bulk or trapping moisture. The well-designed baffles, comfortable hood, internal collar, and angled foot box also draw consistent praise. The most common criticism centers on the very short entrance zipper, which makes getting in and out awkward and can stress stitching, particularly for taller or larger users. Cold sleepers also note that the 0C comfort rating should be treated as a guideline, with extra layers recommended near the temperature limit. The premium price point is another recurring concern.
