About this product

The Salomon Elixir Micro Down HD Jacket is a men's hip-length insulated jacket built around 800 fill-power goose down (90% down, 10% feather, RDS certified) for reliable warmth across alpine climbing, mountaineering, hiking, and snowsports. HeiQ XReflex technology, powered by Xefco, reduces weight and bulk by roughly 25% compared to conventional down of equivalent warmth, resulting in a packed weight of just 326 g. The nylon face fabric carries a PFC-free DWR treatment for light-rain readiness, and the sewn-through construction keeps the fill evenly distributed. A high chin guard adds comfort at the collar, while two zippered hand-warmer pockets provide secure storage. The insulated standard hood is filled with 100% polyester, and the body lining is polyamide. The regular fit is designed to allow easy movement without excess material. Available in Cress Green, this jacket sits at a warmth rating of 4 out of 5 with a breathability rating of 3, making it a well-rounded layering option for cold-weather activity.
