About this product
The Smith Optics 4D Mag in the Coyote Pow Hunter frame is a performance snow goggle built around the MAG magnetic lens-change system, which allows quick, tool-free swaps between the two included lenses. The installed ChromaPop Sun Black Gold Mirror lens carries a 13% visible light transmission rating, suited to bright conditions, while the bonus ChromaPop Storm Blue Sensor Mirror handles lower light. Both lenses block 100% of UVA and UVB radiation, and ChromaPop technology sharpens contrast and natural color rendering. BirdsEye Vision geometry extends clarity into the peripheral field of view. The AirEvac ventilation system is engineered to work in tandem with Smith helmets, promoting airflow and reducing fogging, and the three-layer DriWix face foam adds moisture-wicking comfort. A QuickFit strap adjustment system and an ultra-wide, silicone-backed strap simplify fit dialing. The goggle ships in a medium fit and is also offered in a Low Bridge Fit variant. Included accessories are a goggle hardcase and a microfiber bag with a dedicated lens sleeve.

What people are saying
Reviewers consistently praise the Smith 4D Mag for its industry-leading field of view, driven by the BirdsEye Vision curved lens that adds notable downward visibility. The ChromaPop lens technology earns widespread acclaim for exceptional color accuracy, clarity, and contrast across all light conditions. The magnetic MAG lens-swap system is frequently highlighted as fast, secure, and easy to use even while wearing the goggle. Comfort, anti-fog performance, and durability also receive strong marks across multiple long-term tests. The most common criticism is the steep price, which many reviewers acknowledge is hard to justify for casual skiers. A secondary complaint is minor optical distortion at the bottom of the curved lens, though most reviewers note it fades quickly with use.
