The North Face Alta Vista Rain Jacket is a women's standard-fit shell designed to handle unexpected wet weather on camping trips and outdoor excursions. Its body is constructed from 90 g/m² DryVent 2.5L fabric, a 100% recycled nylon with a non-PFC DWR finish that delivers solid waterproof and breathable performance, while the hood and hem tunnel lining use a lighter 62 g/m² 100% recycled polyester. All seams are fully sealed for reliable rain protection. The attached, adjustable three-piece hood features a drawcord and cord locks, and pit-zip venting helps regulate temperature during active use. An exposed, water-repellent center front zip includes a zip garage at the upper neck, and the hem and cuffs are adjustable via drawcord and hook-and-loop tabs respectively. Storage includes zippered chest and hand pockets plus an internal drop-in pocket, and the jacket conveniently packs into its own chest pocket for easy stowing in a pack.
