The Rab Neutrino Pro 500 is a lightweight, tapered mummy sleeping bag built for mountaineering, multi-day trekking, and fast-and-light alpine adventures. It is filled with 500g of 800-fill-power, RDS-certified European goose down treated with a Nikwax fluorocarbon-free hydrophobic finish to resist moisture in damp or snowy conditions. The outer shell is 20D Pertex Quantum Pro recycled nylon ripstop (40gsm) with a fluorocarbon-free DWR coating, while the lining uses 20D recycled nylon (38gsm). Rab rates the bag to a sleep limit of -9C (15F), with ISO EN 13537:2012 comfort at 0C (32F) and a limit of -6C (21F). Packed weight is approximately 915g for the regular size, and it compresses to 35x23cm. Chevron-shaped baffles reduce fabric use and down migration, while trapezoidal boxwall construction maximizes loft and eliminates cold spots. A neck baffle, zip baffle, and adjustable elasticated hood drawcord further minimize heat loss. The bag is hand-filled in the UK and ships with a waterproof roll-top compression sack and a zipped cotton storage sack. Available in Granite.
