The Rab Solar Ultra 3 is a women's specific synthetic sleeping bag rated to a sleep limit of -13°C (10°F), with ISO EN comfort and limit ratings of 0°C and -6°C respectively. It weighs 1,270g and packs down to 45cm x 24cm, making it a practical choice for lightweight winter mountain use and cold-weather backpacking. The upper section uses a triple-layer concertina construction of 100% recycled Stratus synthetic insulation (180gsm/180gsm/60gsm), while the base uses a dual-layer arrangement (100gsm/100gsm). A built-in TILT scrim, a 15gsm aluminium-coated polyester layer, reduces radiant heat loss by up to 15% without adding meaningful bulk. The outer and lining are both 100% recycled polyester, with a 20D Atmos recycled polyester ripstop lining treated with a fluorocarbon-free DWR finish. The tapered mummy shape is cut for a maximum user height of 170cm, with a shoulder girth of 142cm and hip girth of 120cm. A three-quarter length YKK zip, insulated zip baffle, adjustable neck baffle, and elasticated internal quilting all work together to minimize heat loss. A compression stuff sack is included.
