The North Face Women's THERMOBALL Vest is a standard-fit insulated vest designed to perform from urban environments to mountain terrain. Its THERMOBALL insulation, rated at 11 g/ft² and made from 100% post-consumer recycled polyester, retains warmth even when exposed to moisture. The outer shell uses WINDWALL 20D fabric (44 g/m²) constructed from 100% recycled polyester with a PFC-free durable water repellent finish, while the lining is a 30D, 52 g/m² recycled polyester WINDWALL fabric, making the entire vest, including fill, fully recycled. An updated quilting pattern reduces cold spots throughout. Functional details include an open VISLON center front zipper with a draft flap and chin guard, a drawstring hem with cord locks, secure zippered hand pockets, and a stuff-it feature that allows the vest to pack into its right pocket. The vest also follows a circular design philosophy, meaning it is built to be disassembled and recycled at the end of its life. Embroidered logos appear on the left chest and back right shoulder (model NF0A8D41).
