The Rab Solar Eco 2 is a mummy-shaped synthetic sleeping bag built for three-season use, with a Rab Sleep Limit rating of -2 degrees C (30 degrees F) and an ISO EN comfort rating of 4 degrees C (39 degrees F). Both the outer and lining are constructed from 20D Atmos recycled polyester ripstop, treated with a fluorocarbon-free DWR finish, making the bag entirely free of virgin polyester. The upper uses 100 g/m2 Recycled Stratus Synthetic Sheet Insulation in a dual-layer concertina blanket construction that promotes loft and warmth retention, while the base uses a lighter 60 g/m2 version of the same insulation. Offset localized quilting further reduces cold spots. At 980 g (34.6 oz), the bag suits backpacking and mountain trekking where weight matters. It measures 215 cm (84.6 in) in length and accommodates users up to 185 cm (72.8 in) tall. A close-fitting neck baffle, adjustable hood with elasticated drawcord, and a YKK three-quarter-length zip with an insulated baffle all contribute to heat retention. A compression stuffsack is included, packing down to 35 x 20 cm.
