The Rab Solar Eco 2 is a women's mummy-shaped sleeping bag built for three-season camping, backpacking, and mountain trekking in changeable conditions. Both the outer and lining are constructed from 20D Atmos polyester ripstop made with 100% recycled polyester, treated with a fluorocarbon-free DWR finish. The upper uses 100 g/m² Recycled Stratus Synthetic Sheet Insulation in a dual-layer concertina blanket construction to improve loft and warmth, while the base carries 60 g/m². Temperature ratings follow ISO EN standards, with a comfort rating of 4°C (39°F), a Rab sleep limit of -2°C (30°F), and an extreme rating of -17°C (1°F). The bag accommodates users up to 170 cm (66.9 in) tall, with a 200 cm (78.7 in) total length and internal shoulder girth of 150 cm (59.1 in). Offset quilting reduces cold spots, and a close-fitting neck baffle with adjustable hood drawcord aids heat retention. A YKK three-quarter-length zip features an insulated baffle and anti-snag guard. Total weight is 910 g (32.1 oz), and the bag packs down to 35 x 20 cm in the included compression stuffsack.
