The Rab Solar Eco 2 Wide is a mummy-shaped synthetic sleeping bag built for three-season use, rated to a Rab Sleep Limit of -2°C (30°F) and an ISO EN comfort rating of 4°C (39°F), with an extreme rating reaching -17°C (1°F). Both the outer and lining are constructed from 100% recycled 20D Atmos polyester ripstop fabric, treated with a fluorocarbon-free DWR finish. The upper insulation uses 100 g/m² Recycled Stratus Synthetic Sheet Insulation in a dual-layer concertina blanket construction to maximize loft, while the base uses a lighter 60 g/m² version of the same material. Offset localized quilting reduces cold spots throughout. The bag accommodates users up to 185 cm (72.8 in) tall, measures 215 cm (84.6 in) in length, and weighs 980 g (34.6 oz). Internal shoulder girth is 150 cm, hip girth 128 cm, and foot girth 108 cm. A close-fitting neck baffle, adjustable hood with elasticated drawcord, and a YKK three-quarter-length zip with an insulated baffle and anti-snag guard round out the design. A compression stuff sack is included, packing down to 35 x 20 cm. Available in Ascent Blue.
