The Outdoor Research Snowcrew Jacket is a women's waterproof-breathable shell built for downhill skiing and snowboarding. Its Ventia 2-layer construction pairs a 44% polyester, 56% recycled polyester face fabric with a 50-denier recycled polyester lining, and all seams are fully taped to keep wet snow and wind out. At 549 grams, it sits in a practical middle ground between ultralight and burly, and the hip length provides solid coverage on the mountain. The helmet-compatible hood features a wire brim and full adjustability, while a brushed tricot chin guard adds comfort when zipped up in harsh conditions. Underarm zip venting lets you regulate temperature quickly, and a powder skirt seals the hem against deep snow. Pockets include a zippered chest pocket, a forearm pass pocket, two front zippered pockets, and an internal drop-in pocket. VerticalX Eco recycled polyester insulation adds warmth without significant bulk. The jacket carries Bluesign approved material certification and incorporates recycled content throughout.
